Are you suggesting that games weren't "buggy" before?

They ALWAYS HAVE BEEN, and going back to the Atari and NES days, sometimes those bugs were game-breaking s**t. It wasn't really until this current hardware cycle (you know?.....the one you're complaining about), in which if a game has even a little bug or glitch, nevermind a game-breaking one, all gamers have to do is go to a developer's forum, or even just complain about it loudly on a site such ...

Gaming is in reality, cheaper than it's ever been. Quality is in many ways higher than it's ever been. So gamers have more games on their want list these days (and by these days, I mean the last 10 or so years), so in that way it could SEEM more expensive. But game-by-game, the hobby is cheaper than it's ever been by a long shot.....ESPECIALLY if you consider inflation.

In terms of BRAND NEW games, they've always been pretty much the same price. Atari games ne...

I read the description of that new version of the game that was announced (it's not called GOTY Edition, it's called something else which escapes my mind just now), and nowhere in the description does it say any of the DLC is included.....it's just a bunch of "collectible" crap like the map, guide and other stuff.

Personally, I don't care that I couldn't get the DLC (since I'm a PS3 gamer). Even if it did release on PS3 I wouldn't have bo...

Who cares about this crap anyway? They need to just hurry the "F" up and release WrestleFest on consoles.

LOL @ greenpowerz

You can't accuse ANYONE of being a fanboy when you sit there proclaiming Forza as a "full SIM") LOL.......GTFO of here with that fanboy non-sense!!!!

Now I wouldn't know about the new NFS:MW, but SHIFT2, while it's physics and handling characteristics are rediculous, it's environment graphics are incredible, and were a bit of a sneak-peek at the "next level" of realistic-style racing games. Graphically For...

The only game left for me to look forward to this year now that I've got DOOM BFG and Killzone HD, is Guardians of Middle-Earth.

I was also looking forward to WrestleFest, but it seems the console version of that game has completely fallen off the map. I'm thinking they may have run into some serious issues with the console port.

If I leave the house to my door open, and you rob me, if you get caught you will be going to jail. I can't stand people who justify crimes like that. I'd hate to know what kind of other crimes you'd justify with that kind of logic.

I'm happy as hell these losers' case failed. Money grubbing vultures. It's an established fact that no credit card numbers actually got stolen, and no examples of fraud using any user's personal info were cited.

I'm not impressed with much in terms of racing this gen. Graphics have been really raised racently, and it wasn't by the "two kings" (GT and Forza) in racing. Shift 2 and the upcoming Project Cars are now DOMINATING racing games graphically, GT5 and Forza 4/H do not even compare. But physics and gameplay-wise, most everything's been "off" aside from a select few. My short list would be.

#1 GT5. It's still rocking everybody in terms of gamep...

I'm not starting that debate, really. What I'm saying is, this game is being marketed to console gamers for some reason, it seems like to me. Which I really don't understand. Unless you're a PC gamer, isn't this game irrelevant? If it were for consoles I'd be REALLY excited to be honest. If the physics are on spot, this may be the best sim available.

But since it's not coming to consoles, why is every Project Cars article posted in both the PS3 and...

The A.I. would be less important to me than the net code. This was crazy though. They were going faster off-track than the play was on-track. The car was uncontrollable at the end as well, I hope that was due to the damage, but it seemed damage was off for the player since he kept going after a big crash before.

I agree that this game looks incredible, though all the pop-in off the clouds was really distracting to me at around 2:10, a drawback of dynamic clouds I suppose. Very cool weather effects otherwise, I love that there's lightning. I wish water got on the camera lens. But how could it compare to GT5 in that Project Cars is just a PC game anyway, right? This wouldn't be the first Sim better than GT5 when you count PC.

It's not a waste of money for either console gamers. Remember, in reality DOOM 3 has never released on consoles. That chopped up game on Xbox was not the PC version graphically and content wise. Also, more specific for PS3 gamers, DOOM and DOOM2 have not been released on PSN in any way. Those are MAJOR classics to be missing in this day of having all the classics on the new platforms.

That being said, I don't really think it was worth the $40 I paid for it (actually $...

There's nothing really WRONG with it, in fact it's the better product. More varied environments, even better graphics, more features, SICK melee.

For mass appeal it really should have been HUGELY successfull. But the problem was, GG didn't realise that CoD fans, while they LOVE telling you what's wrong with your shooter, will actually never really PLAY anything but CoD. So what GG did, was in hopes of getting a cut of some of CoD's sales numbers, listened ...

Yeah, the Xbox version was very different. This is really the first time DOOM 3 has had a console release.

But you think Half-Life 2 graphically overshadowed DOOM3?

@above

Yeah, I was watching every interview I could find last night since I couldn't find any reviews. They've actually changed alot of scenarios all for the better from what I saw. John Carmack also said he completely took out the original aiming system code and replaced...

The movement being heavy wasn't a technical error. They were specifically going for that. And they proved that when Killzone 2 still had that weighty movement. My only disappointment with GG over the years was when they were developing Killzone 3, they gave in to all the CoD zombies crying about that weighty movement. I wished they kept it like Killzone 2. In fact, I'd go as far as to say I wish they'd kept all the weight and kickback from Killzone 1 in Killzone 2. K2 was MUCH eas...

Yup, but it's actually better since there are no longer those framerate drops and other issues.

And chunky said
"Killzone 1 never looked that good to begin with"

I couldn't disagree more. When PS2's lifecycle was all said and done, Killzone 1 was the best looking FPS on the console except for 1 other game, and that was BLACK.

Personally, Killzone 1 is my favorite of the series. I loved the rediculous amount of kickback and muzzle lift. It made me better at all FPSs. I remember playing BF2 online on PS2, and totally sucking. I would get like 1 kill for every 10 deaths if I was having a good game. Killzone came out and it was FAR more hard, but with the dark tone, awesome weapons all with secondary fire, and 3 or 4 of my favorite MP maps of all time (beach head, park terminal, canyon crossing and core), it kept me h...

Ummmm.......are there alot of DC fighting games? Care to point me to them? Last one I recall is MK vs DC from 4 years ago, and the one before that was......errrrr......oh yeah, there wasn't one before that. Though I may have a memory of one from back in the SNES/Genesis days, which I never played.

Green Lantern have an armor-like costume isn't new. I don't read many DC comics (aside from Swmp Thing from their VERTIGO line back in like 2005...

Yeah, looks really good. Honestly not as gorgeous as the PC version maxed out, but that is to be expected. And really, all that seems to be noticably missing is the INTENSE lighting effects and fog effect. The foliage looks pretty much the same.

I can't believe I'm actually considering paying a subscription to play a game. I always swore I wouldn't. I havn't decided YET, but I'll know after I play the beta, and get a little more info (most importantly, if ...
